Tonight at work sucked. I only made $40 in 8 hours and I'm so frustrated right now, I feel like it was just a waste of time. This comes after making only $60 over the entire spring break. But now I'm just venting.
Anyway, there was one good part of work. Well, 2 if you count the 3-pound omelet the cooks made me for dinner. Ok, so I don't know if it was actually 3 pounds, but there was at least 1 pound of stuff inside it. It was the largest omelet I've ever seen. It was gigantic. I didn't even eat half of it and I was stuffed.
So that was fun.
But the best part of work tonight-- the only good part, if I'm being honest-- was when I walked into the kitchen to wait for said enormous omelet. "Wonderwall" by Oasis was playing on the cooks' boom box. As you know, if you've been reading my blog (even just once in awhile), I've been dying to listen to "Wonderwall."
It's a pretty strange phenomenon, since it's not my favorite song in any way. At least, it wasn't. But now that I can't listen to it, I'm finding that I want to listen to it very, very badly. It's like I never listened to it enough before, like I didn't appreciate it enough. Let me say, after this is over, I'll be listening to "Wonderwall." I'll play it over and over until I exhaust it. Maybe it's gonna be the one that saves me.

Haha, I know! I totally agree. That's the reason I downloaded it in the first place, since I hadn't heard it in about 10 years. I was never into Oasis. So it's definitely Charlie that started this obsession.
