Day 37: Clear Roads, Which Means...

1) Spring is coming!! Well, probably not. But I can hope!

2) Fast driving. I caught myself driving 70 off and on on the way home. Usually I drive like a grandma, so this is a big deal. I just felt so free not having to worry about hitting a patch of black ice and doing a 540 in the middle of the highway.

3) I want to listen to my spring music more than ever. It's going to be so hard watching the ice drip off of everything and not being able to pop in some Alkaline Trio. It's gonna be tough, but I can do it. I've gotten this far.

I found out some very good news today. Anberlin is apparently a couple weeks in to recording a new CD! I didn't even know they had one planned, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find this out. I usually get afraid when my favorite bands put out new CDs, because when Taking Back Sunday put out "Louder Now" I was really disappointed. But Anberlin doesn't worry me. I just get really excited. My goal after all of this is to see Anberlin in concert. I've only seen them once, this past fall, but if anything calls for a concert-inspired road trip, it's the end of this project.

In other good news, Fall Out Boy broke up! At least that's what my sister told me! I have a deep hatred for their music. I kind of like one of their songs called "Dead On Arrival" and that's really old. I once had to sit through them opening for Taking Back Sunday in 2004, and it seemed like the longest half hour of my life. It actually felt more like 2 hours. Gross. So few things make me happier right now than knowing that they've disbanded and that once I can open my ears up again, their music won't be in them.
