Day 47: Restricted

This title reminds me of Harry Potter, and the Restricted Section of the library. Restriction always ends up leading them to good things in those books. However, it's not leading me to anything. Well, nothing good at least.

I realized that the thing I hate most about this project is the restriction. I've lately come to the realization that I hate having to listen to only one thing. I love being able to just turn on my iPod and pick whatever I want to listen to. And, if it isn't on my iPod, I can just download it! Or I can go in my car, put in a CD, and rock out. Whatever I want, whenever.

But now, I'm confined to a certain CD by a certain band that plays a certain genre. I have no freedom, whatsoever. I can only do what's been lined up in these guidelines I've set for myself.

This must be what Communism feels like.
