Day 59: CHAD

So I went o babynames.com today, a site I visit often to find names for my writing, and I saw, at the bottom of a page, a new thing they have. You can post a picture of a person who has whatever name. For example, I looked up the name Desmond, and there were a bunch of cute babies named Desmond. Then, I thought it would be fun to post a picture of Chad Kroeger under the name "Chad." So I went there and looked at the pictures that were there already.

And then I formed a theory.

I've met a couple of Chads in my life. Maybe only one in real, but Chad Kroeger and I have become pretty intimate in the last couple of months. So, anyway, the Chad that I did know was kind of a jerk. We were partners for this class project, and when I met with him one day, all he kept talking about was how all the girls he works with "kind of have a thing for him." Ew.

So that, in a nutshell, was this Chad kid.

And these Chad guys on babynames.com all had either super gelled hair, backward hats, or wifebeaters. And, just judging by Chad Kroeger's music, I'm going to say I can draw the same conclusion about him.

So I've come up with an acronym. Or a Chadcronym, if you will.

ABSOLUTE,
DOUCHE-BAG.

I'm sorry if you know a Chad who's really nice. I'm just being super prejudice and jumping to conclusions here. But, given my theory, I think Chad Kroger's name really fits him. Maybe he's nice in real life, and I feel kind of bad making these conclusions about him, and all these other Chad's I've never met in the world, but it's just a theory. I've yet to prove it positive.

I went back to babynames.com to upload the picture. I had to create a log-in, so for our purposes I'm Sally Herschburger from Atlanta, GA. If it happens to be illegal to post a Googled image of Chad Kroeger on a website, I'm not getting caught for it.
