Day 51: PAT BENETAR!!

I just found out that Pat Benetar is going to be playing at the casino in April!!!!! This may not be so exciting to all of you, but to me, it's INCREDIBLE! I've been listening to her since, like, 7th grade when I stole my mom's CD.

I love, love. LOVE her! So I'm super excited.

I heard the announcement on my way back from the airport, from picking up Bo Burnham.

Turns out it wasn't as awkward as I expected it to be. I mean, it was weird, and silent, but not quite what I imagined. This is a good thing.

My friend, Sarah, and I were picking him up. He and his girlfriend got of the plane, and he went straight into the bathroom. So we walked up to the girl and said, "Hi. Are you Bo Burnham's girlfriend?" Awkward. But she laughed, at least. So that was that. I mean, how else do you approach a stranger's girlfriend?

The ride was pure quiet, and the happy couple just sat in the back and whispered to one another, which was actually pretty sweet. The ride back from the venue to their hotel wasn't half as bad, because I finally felt like I had stuff to talk about.

Sarah turned on the radio on the way to the airport. I couldn't stop her. The Fray was the first band on. It was great. Then, lo and behold, a Nickelback song came on! Imagine that. I can't even get away from them by breaking the rules.
