My sister and I went on a road trip to Kingsford for my cousin's basketball game. She's a senior in high school, and they're in the tournaments right now, so it's really exciting. We took my aunt and her husband with us, because we're good nieces like that. Plus, they helped pay for gas.
On the way there, I made sure to turn my CD player down very low. I was still technically listening to it, but I didn't have to hear it.
At one point, my aunt said, "Stacy, I hear you're listening to Nickelback."
She knows about my challenge. But her husband doesn't, so he started asking me about it and I told him.
It later came out that this aunt of mine doesn't mind Nickelback either. Ugh.
Nothing else really came about today. But I have been realizing that I'm building up will power with this whole Nickelback thing. I never force myself to do anything. If I don't want to work out, I don't. If I don't want to finish a story, I don't. But I'm forcing myself to complete this challenge, and it's really weird. It just really makes me feel like I have a ton of will power. It's nice to not feel like a pushover to myself.
I'll end this by saying that this horrible new-age boy band is on the Disney Channel right now. Yes, the Disney Channel. Anyway, it's called Allstar Weekend, which might be the stupidest band name ever. Either way, I'm thoroughly enjoying this song, even though I'm 95% certain it's terrible.

Nice post. Good to hear about your developing will power, though I'm sorry it had to happen this way. :)
